Danger spots

Home is a dangerous place for both humans and animals. Cats especially like climbing and tight places, it's good to check where the cat can safely climb - without the cat or things falling and where it can push itself, so that it might get stuck. It's also a good idea to place open windows so that they don't open so much that the cat could fall through them.

The most common places of danger, especially for puppies, are:

  • Balcony and open window

  • Plants

  • Foods that are toxic to animals, such as chocolate, grapes, raisins and xylitol

  • Medicines and detergents

  • Nicotine and tobacco

  • Poppins, rubber bands, gift strings, popsicle sticks, Lego blocks, etc. small and easy to eat

  • Chairs with slats, especially if they have a wedge-shaped structure that tapers down

  • Toilet bowl

  • Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher

  • Wires

  • Plastic bags

  • Holes
