Danger spots
Home is a dangerous place for both humans and animals. Cats especially like climbing and tight places, it's good to check where the cat can safely climb - without the cat or things falling and where it can push itself, so that it might get stuck. It's also a good idea to place open windows so that they don't open so much that the cat could fall through them.
The most common places of danger, especially for puppies, are:
-
Balcony and open window
-
Foods that are toxic to animals, such as chocolate, grapes, raisins and xylitol
-
Medicines and detergents
-
Nicotine and tobacco
-
Poppins, rubber bands, gift strings, popsicle sticks, Lego blocks, etc. small and easy to eat
-
Chairs with slats, especially if they have a wedge-shaped structure that tapers down
-
Toilet bowl
-
Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher
-
Wires
-
Plastic bags
-
Holes
